Sukkot
(October, 1st - 7th)


Sukkot in a Hebrew holiday which origins in the bible. It is one of the 3 holidays, in which the Jews were ordered to pilgrim to Jerusalem. The holiday lasts for a week, and is usually celebrated in decorated tents, which are called "Sukkah". During the week of Sukkot many people are on a holiday, so you can expect many events and shows in the streets of Tel Aviv.


Redfoo (from LFMAO) Concert

For the first time, Redfoo, from the musical pair LFMAO, is coming to Israel this October. Redfoo will perform the team's mega hits, which have stirred the whole world last year with their second album "Sorry for party rocking".


Rihutim  2013 - Israel International Furniture Exhibition 2013
(October 1st - 8th, The Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center).


This year is the 34th year that the Rihutim exhibition is being held in Tel Aviv. The exhibition is all about home design and planning, and is suitable for professionals as well as design amateurs. The exhibition will take place at various booths, so hurry up - the entry is free.


The 16th International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantasy
(October 1st - 14th, Cinematek, Tel Aviv)


This is the 16th annual SCI-FI festival held in Tel Aviv.  The festival is set up to promote local Israeli work in the field of fictional science, fantasy and animation.


Jesus & Mary Chain Concert
(October 18th - 19th, Barbi Club, Tel Aviv)


This is the first time that the Scottish Alternative Rock band is coming to Israel, and they will give two performances. The band, which revolves around two brothers, Jim and William, broke up in 1999, but reunited in 2007.


SPIRIT Film Festival
(October 24th - 27th , Cinematek, Tel Aviv)


This is the 6th international SPIRIT film festival held in Tel Aviv. The festival will include film screenings of feature films, documentary films and short films.


Johnny Hallyday Concert
(October 30th, Nokia Arena, Tel Aviv)


The French artist, Johnny Hallyday, is coming to Israel as a part of his current world tour. In 2009 Hallyday announced his retirement, but in March 2012 announced his embark to several international performances.
