Barbra Streisand Concert
(June 20th, 22nd 2013, Bloomfield Stadium, Tel Aviv)
The 71-year-old American singer, actress, writer, producer, director, Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy winner is performing in Israel this summer for the first time, even though she had visited Israel before. She will perform twice in Tel Aviv and this will wrap up her short European tour. Streisand will be performing alongside sixty musicians, as well as her son, Jason Gould and her sister, Roslyn Kind.
Tickets cost 420-3,400 NIS.
Tel Aviv Gay Pride Parade 2013
(June 7th, 2013, Tel Aviv)
This will be the 10th parade taking place in Tel Aviv, in which more than 100,000 people participate every year. The parade will start in Gan Meir, where there will be music and activities, it will then continue to Bugrashov St., Ben Yehuda St., then to Ben Gurion Blvd. all the way to Gordon beach, where the party actually begins.
Eugene Onegin Opera
(June 24th - July 6th 2013, the Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv)
This is the Bolshoi Opera House's first visit in Israel with its new production, one of the most famous Russian operas, Alexander Pushkin's 3 acts opera, composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It tells the stroy of a selfish, successful aristocrat who rejects Tatyana's, a simple country girl, love, kills his best friend and later falls in love with Tatyana and regrets his rejection.
Annual Book Fair
(June 5th - 15th 2013, Rabin Square, Tel Aviv)
This event, which is part of the "Hebrew Book Week" takes place every year since 1961, not just in Tel Aviv, but in many more cities throughout Israel. Other than the actual book sales, the fair includes tours in Israeli authors' footsteps, activities for children such as storytelling, theater and plays.
Peter Murphy Concert
(June 21st - 22nd 2013, Barby Club,Tel Aviv)
The English rock singer of the band "Bauhaus" will perform twice in Tel Aviv in the summer. Bauhaus broke up in 1983, and Murphy then began a solo career which took off with his third album "Deep".
Tickets cost a minimum of 219 NIS.
ISDEF 2013 Exhibition
(June 4th- 6th, 2013, Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center, Tel-Aviv)
This is the 6th International Defence and Security exhibition, which is considered the most important defense and security event in Israel. The ISDEF exhibition will host visitors from over 60 different countries. ISDEF enables the community in this field to work on strategic cooperation and develop business relations.
Ezertech 2013 Exhibition
(June 10th- 11th, 2013, Ganei Hataarucha, Tel Aviv)
This exhibition introduces new technologies and equipment for people with special needs and the handicap population. It's a chance for private and professional consumers, manufacturers, importers and suppliers to meet and understand each other.
Fresh AgroMashov Exhibition 2013
(June 11th- 12th, 2013, Ganei Hataarucha, Tel Aviv)
This is the only exhibition in Israel which introduces fresh agricultural produce growers to international buyers and marketers.
Technology Exhibition 2013
(June 18th- 20th, 2013, Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center, Tel-Aviv)
This is the 22nd annual international exhibition for technological innovation and achievements held in Israel. It introduces professional consumers with manufacturers in different fields such as metals, electronics, machinery, motor vehicles, furniture and so forth.
Security 2013 Exhibition
(June 25th- 27th, 2013, Ganei Hataarucha, Tel Aviv)
This is the 27th international homeland security exhibition, which includes conferences, business meetings and demonstrations of the security and protection industry in Israel. It is the most significant event in the security marketing field.
