A Historic Tour of Neve Tzedek : Rokach House
Neve Tzedek is the first Jewish Neighborhood built outside of Jaffa. Founded in 1187, it consists of many gems. Rokach house, is one of them.  The house, which was inhabited by Shimon Rokach, one of the founders of Neve Tzedek, was one of the first ten houses in the neighborhood. When Mr. Rokach passed away in 1922 the house was donated to the city of Tel Aviv. Rokach house was in a state of neglect until it was purchased by Mr. Rokach's granddaughter and turned into a museum in 1984.
